Christina Myers

Christina Myers is a nationally competitive powerlifter in the 57kg weight class, a professional figure competitor, and a USA Powerlifting meet director. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine and Nutrition and is currently progressing through a Master's Degree in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning and has earned her CSCS certification. Christina has assisted in and published research in peer-reviewed journals and makes a habit of keeping up with the most current research in the field. Christina has 8 years of in-person fitness and sports coaching experience. Christina coaches powerlifters and general strength training clients from beginner to elite, with a strong emphasis on foundations and technique (through video analysis) for sustainability and longevity, and has experience in meet-day coaching at the local, regional, and national level. She has coached clients from novice to elite, with lifters qualifying to both IPL and IPF worlds. A positive and strong coach-client relationship is important to Christina, and she takes on a limited number of clients to ensure that each one is getting the attention he/she deserves. She also works closely with experts in the related fields of physical therapy, sports chiropractic care, and recovery to ensure the client is getting the best care available.

Les Keyes

Les Keys is a powerlifting coach from Birmingham, Alabama. He has been powerlifting specifically for 5 years and coaching for 3 years. Les previously worked at a physical therapy clinic as a tech during his first two years of coaching. During that time, Les studied exercise science at Jeff State and is currently finishing his degree at UAB. Les has worked with over 50 athletes and coaches at both the local and national level. It is his mission to help lifters become as strong as possible, both mentally and physically.

At this seminar, you will learn the ins and outs of powerlifting competition, including rules for competition, attempt selection, and strategy. The registration form even includes a quick survey about your background and interests to help us tailor the event directly to those attending!
